So I went out this Saturday and had a GAY DAY.
First woke up at 7am went to my gay football game at 10am went to work then came home showered and went to meet the football team at SOFO. I got there around 3pm and stayed until about 5:30 then I met up my volleyball team at Halsted's Bar and Grill at 6pm hung out and discussed uniforms. I agreed to be on the volleyball team only if I had control of the uniforms. So ya'll know they gonna be off the chizzane! The name of our team is The Spike Gurlz! I may be either Ghetto Spike, or Jukin Spike.
Then we went to Sidtracks had more drinks, we hit Roscoes, then we ended our night at Berlin. Needless to say I was out until about 3am another GAY DAY. In all these Gay bars I just really watched and how there were people that were hanging with friends laughing and getting trashed. You had the stuck up crowd that only talked to cute guys, and then you had the older men alone heading to the bar lookin for something.
I really just focused on those men and the loneliness that pours out of their eyes. Some are attractive others aren't as much but they're out lookin. Lookin for what? Looking for companionship? Looking for conversation? Looking to kill time? No I think almost all of them were lookin for what we as humans sometimes spend an entire lifetime looking for, LOVE!
So I ask myself, where is love? Is it at a bar? At a Club? At a bookstore? I think we need to find it within ourselves before we can find it in someone else.
