Ellen had an emotional moment on her show regarding Lawrence King a 15 year old boy who was killed because he was gay.








Ellen put it best we are not second class citizens neither was Lawrence King. To be killed simply because he was gay shows that our country is a long way from being free of discrimination.

More Paula Abdul Album News!

Paula's comeback is going to include some of her old music. Her new CD is due this summer with a single out by late May early June. Here's what Paula has to say about her new CD:

"I'm back in the studio already. Im going to do 5 or 6 of my # 1 songs, but interpreted by different producers like Will.I.Am," says Abdul.

The album will also include five NEW songs. Go Paula do a throw back and due some new material to see if you're able to get another hit.

Madonna's "Hard Candy"

Madonna has unveiled the title of her upcoming album "Hard Candy" due in stores April 29th. Her new album has collaborations from Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, and Timbaland. The new sound is more of an urban feel but don't worry there are some dance tunes on her new LP.

Madonna is trying to appeal to American radio to have more success. Madonna's last album "Confessions on a Dance Floor" sold over 10 million worldwide but had virtually no radio play in America. Madonna hopes that with the likes of Justin and Timbaland radio will be all over her shizz! Her new single "4 Minutes to Save the World" is to be released at the end of March.

Janet Jackson Discipline Review

Janet has released her 10Th studio album today entitled "Discipline." Much pressure has been placed on Miss Jackson due to her last two efforts were considered commercial disappointments.

After her famous Superbowl incident, her music has not sold the way it use to in the past. Damita Joe has sold 900,000 copies and her last CD 20 y.0 sold a mere 650,000 copies.

Janet promised her fans a dance album that will remind us of why we fell in love with this dance diva in the first place. Her first single "Feedback" was all the indication that Miss Jackson is back and better than ever with a sick beat and killer dance moves. The single failed to ignite radio but no worries her fans knew Janet would show them with a second single and that she did. She just released "Rock Wit U" as her second single and its far from her brother's "Rock With You." The song has sexy beats with sultry vocals, it's sure to be a club hit with a lounge feel to it. Quite sexy! But radio may not love it.

The CD is too much of a disappointment. She has a few songs that are notable aside from the first two singles. "Rollercoaster" provides a pop flair with hip hop infusion. "The 1" featuring Missy Elliott is not half bad but Missy shines on the record. "2nite" is good dance song that radio might like but it's nothing fresh.

The problem with this record as it was with the other two is that Janet continues to be mislead into thinking she is a vocalist. She wants to still sing slow R&B songs but her voice is very limited. This was her chance to show us that she has returned to her dance roots. She gave us every indication that she was giving us something new and fresh with club beats and sultry lyrics. But its much of the same formula that she has done in every album. She continues to have about 7 interludes that are suppose to be poetic, artistic, even funny. She provides a few good dance songs, then she slows it down to sing R&B.

Overall the CD works but it has proved that she may need to retire. She once told Oprah when asked about working with other producers "Why fix something that's not broke?"She really should have listened to herself and take her own advice. Ever since she has opted not to work with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis her albums have not been the same. She lost that magic that was created with all three of them.

Janet yo ass better dump your man if Mariah Carey's album does better than yours. He is playing you girl. So I say dump Jermaine Dupri, get Jimmy Jam and Terry back, and make a kick ass dance record!

Mariah Can't Sing Anymore!

You know we always dog the Britneys, Janets, Paulas, and JLos of the sining industry for lacking vocal ability, but we need to add Mariah Carey to that list. She can't sing anymore. She threw it down when she first popped into the music scene with "Vision of Love" but has lost her ability to sing since then. Her new song "Touch My Body" is proof that Mariah has opted to show us her version of rapping instead of showing us her range. The song is aight at best and offers nothing new and fresh to the music scene. She is so predictable with her music but the surprise here is that she doesn't have a guest artist as she loves to do. But never say never, I'm sure the remix is in the works and it will have more airplay than the original.

Does Michael Jackson Still Have it?

We can't deny that Michael Jackson is one of the biggest superstars of our time. He has sold more than 750 million albums worldwide and created an era of dance style that is still present in music today.

Sure he likes little boys, sure he has had more plastic surgery than Cher, sure he got away with molesting a little boy, and sure he claims to be straight but through all the doubts we have of him as a person he still has credit of an artist.

It's been 25 years since the release of the biggest selling album of all time "Thriller" and he has re-released the album with the help of some of todays biggest singers (Fergie, Wil.I.AM, and Akon). Thriller sold 166,000 copies last week, pretty impressive for a catalog album containing no new songs. Since it was catalog, the album could not chart on the Billboard Top 200 but it did debut at #1 on Billboard's Catalog chart.

Michael has hinted of a comback but I doubt that will happen. People still remember the Michael of yesterday and want nothing to do with todays Michael Jackson. Will Michael still Thrill us in years to come, or will he have to just Beat It?

ABC Announces the Return of our Shows!

ABC has announced the return of our shows. I need my Ugly Betty back but at least I'm getting my fix of Brothers and Sisters. I looooooooove that show! It has an all star cast and the they are sooooo dysfunctional that it's quite realistic.

ABC today announced return dates for some of TV's hottest series with new episodes, including "Boston Legal," "Brothers & Sisters," "Desperate Housewives," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Samantha Who?" and "Ugly Betty."
The return of "Grey's Anatomy" will see "Lost" moving to its new 10:00 p.m. time period on Thursday, April 24, with five weeks of original episodes.
"Pushing Daisies," "Private Practice" and "Dirty Sexy Money" have been picked up for a second season and will return with new episodes in fall 2008.
The return dates are:
"Samantha Who?": Monday, April 7 with six original episodes.

Attention Claymates!

Clay Aiken will be releasing a new album this year. Clay Gaykin has hope to release his album by May 6th and plans to sing songs that suit him. He claims not to change his look or create an image that's not him.

"We're hoping the next album will be out about May 6," Clay -- who currently stars in Spamalot -- tells People.com.
"We've picked most of the songs," he adds. "Sonically, I don't know that we're going down any path that's crazy. I'm not trying to be cool, I'm not trying to be hip. I'm not trying to do anything other than sing stuff that I'm good at."

Well I hope Clay releases the album by May 6th and he'll have opportunity to promote it at all the Gay Parades in June. But you need to lose some weight! Looks like you a bit too thick for your own good.

Paula Abdul Confirms New Album, Tour Are in the Works

Tonight Paula Abdul’s video for her new single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow” will get its televised premiere on American Idol (the clip, which features fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson on bass and a brief glimpse of Simon Cowell, got an early Web debut yesterday). The track is from Jackson’s own upcoming release Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1, but Abdul is now revealing that she’s in the studio working on her first new album since 1995’s Head Over Heels.

“I am just in the beginning stages of it,” Abdul says. “I am working right now with different producers — Oliver Leiber, who co-produced the vocals on ‘Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.’ He also wrote and produced ‘Forever Your Girl,’ ‘Opposites Attract’ and ‘The Way That You Love Me.’ We’re looking forward to putting a single out by the end of May, beginning of June.”
Being in the studio now “is more enjoyable,” she says, thinking back to the stints recording 1988’s Forever Your Girl, 1991’s Spellbound and Heels. “It was really nice being able to have no one expecting anything. No one knew that this was coming, it just kind of crept up from behind, and it was nice not having to feel the pressure of a time constraint.”

And Abdul says a tour isn’t out the question, despite the fact that she’s been battling a pain condition that’s resulted in fourteen surgeries. “I’ve definitely been thinking about it, definitely been taking meetings and hearing different opporutnies that are out there for me,” she says. “I’m very particular about how I want to approach touring — I want to do something that’s very different and that really kind of embraces all that I do.” Abdul adds that she’ll be involved with the staging and choreography, but also hopes to work with “visual, creative people that I’ve wanted to work with and haven’t had the opportunity to in the past.”

First the dancing is sooooo much better than that mess at the Superbowl. I think the video has a budget but has no concept. I think her choice in wardrobe is NOT cute. I think her singing into the microphone is not appropriate since the song is about dancing. She shoulda done something with a club or at least focused on dancing more. I think she should have let someone else choreograph her dance sequences but the video is very cute! I expected more but it is very cute! Check it out:

Donkey Punch! The Movie?

Yes people the sexual act of Donkey Punch has been made into a movie and I am so gonna see this shit! LOL I can't beleive Hollywood made a movie out of this. There is no trailer but a release date of May 2008 straight to DVD. Here are the details about the movie:

The film follows three girls on a weekend trip in Spain, where they meet a group of guys at a nightclub, who invite them back to their luxury yacht for more drugs and drinking. The party atmosphere comes to an abrupt end when sexual boundaries are crossed, eventually leading to a horrific accidental death, and causing the rest of the night to be filled with mind games and a frantic fight for survival.

- The film's title is supposedly a slang term relating to the odd sexual practice, in which the partner on the receiving end is punched on the back of the head or neck.

All I have to say is that I will have a Donkey Punch night at my house in May!

High School Sex!

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens had a huge scandal last year when a naked photo was leaked. Now it appears there is a 45 sex tape caught on a cell phone with her in it. TransWorldNews is reporting the sex tape is out there. Read the following:

According to reports, a Vanessa Hudgens sex tape has surfaced. Sources say the 45 second video was taken on a cell phone. Hudgens is shown sitting under a Christmas tree wearing only a red Santa hat and red thong decorated with mistletoe.

Yep the rumors have now been confirmed, Pink and Carey Hart have seperated. They also released some lame ass untrue statement.

"Pink and Carey Hart have separated," a rep for the singer tells the magazine. "This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Pink and Carey met in 2001 and she proposed to him at one of his races in 2005. The couple married in 2006 and now have called it quits. Pink is gonna whoop his ass, cuz ya'll know he's been banging chicks left and right. Homeboy has pics of him and women partying while Pink was touring. She is gonna stomp on that! Spice Girls Spiced Up Chitown!

My boy David went to the Spice Girls show this past weekend and had lots to say about it. He wrote a review of the show and gave me permission to post it. I'm mad I didn't get to see the Spice Girls, I so woulda been screaming "Ginger I love you" but no worries it's not like its Paula Abdul or anything so I aint crying over it. Read his review:

My friend Craig & I saw the Spice Girls on Friday night in concert. Don't roll your eyes, it was unbelievably fun! But the next time I am near thousands of screaming 15 - 24 year old women, it will be too soon. These young fans were wearing heels for the first time, one asked me to buy her a beer (fat chance, sweetheart!) and there were just too many pairs of leggings in sight. Luckily there were gays and cougars sprinkled throughout the venue.

I thought the British girl group would come out and do a dozen songs in an hour and leave. The concert was so much more than that! There was a proper full band, 10 male dancers and an elaborate stage to accompany the reunited 5 original spicies. And how could we leave out the Roberto Cavali (sp?) designed outfits - Posh thanked him for them during the set! At least there were no back up singers visible - nothing like seeing a vocal quintet that requires back up singers. Granted, Ginger Spice was the sole singer on the stage during her remake of It's Raining Men, yet the song had layered vocals. Must be girl power.

Goodbye and 2 Become 1 were the highlights for me. I was wowed even during Posh's solo set, which luckily required no singing as she has the weakest voice of the lot. She sashayed down the runway to the instrumental intro of Like a Virgin and struck a pose to RuPaul's Supermodel as if she were on a catwalk and the subject to paparazzi. Whenever it was Mrs. David Beckham's turn to sing, the venue errupted with a thunderous applause. Must be nice. Now I view Posh Spice the most beautiful celebrities on earth (sorry Demi Moore!) and Scary Spice is up there too with her spice rack. Posh was trademark Posh, not over dancing and requiring a hand to help her down all staircases.

Ginger Spice wore her infamous Union Jack dress during Who Do You Think You Are, BUT she does not fill it out like she once did courtesy of her strict diet and love for yoga. During Mama, 4 of the spicies brought their kids on stage with them, even the little ones who wore headphones to protect their little ears. So cute!

Sadly, the tarts did not do Move Over, the song used in the Pepsi commercials on the eve of releasing Spice World or the suggestive Naked. The United Center was bursting at the seams with a feel good vibe. What a feeling!

Awe Snap!

Cher isn't only doing a show in Vegas she is also working on a new album. Cher is releasing a new ablum this year via Warner Bros. Cher hasn't relased an album since 2001's "Living Proof." Her Vegas show opens on May 6th.

New American Idol Controversy

Ok, it's not a season of American Idol without some controversy. I guess the talk of the town is that these three finalist have had record contracts in the past. Not just record contracts but actual contracts with major lables. I don't know how I feel about it, but it does take away from the rags to riches story that American Idol was based on.

"American Idol" isn't just for amateurs anymore. According to USA Today, there are a number of contestants in this season's final 24 who've had recording contracts in the not-so-distant past.
KRISTY LEE COOK was once signed with BRITNEY SPEARS' production company, MICHAEL JOHNS' band signed with MADONNA's Maverick label, until they were dropped. And CARLY SMITHSON recorded with MCA. Her debut album made $2 million, but she was dropped for poor sales.
But "Idol" executive producer NIGEL LYTHGOE insists no rules are being broken, saying contestants are just not allowed to currently be under contract. "We're looking for 'great,'" he tells the paper. "And, yes, those people in all likelihood have had dealings with the industry before."

Step Up 2 The Streets

I got "Low" and went to see "Step Up 2: The Streets" and I loved it. The movie is a bit cheesy at times and has the same formula of two people from two different worlds, a loss of a loved one in the past, learning an important life lesson, and that dance translates into any language. Channing Tatum, the hotness from the first movie, makes a cameo to tie the sequel together.

I liked it better than the first because of the dance sequences. They were off the chizane! I know my ass has got to get to a dance studio real quick. Them moves were unreal! Step up 2 stars relatively unknown actors Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman, singer Cassie makes her film debut as well but it was quite forgettable.

Go get yo STEP on! If not for the story at least for the dancing!

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

Yes people they made a sequel to this movie. I loved "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and I am so hyped for the sequel. I don't know if the movie needed a second part but who cares, it looks like a feel good chick flick! America Ferrera, Amber Tamlyn, Blake Lively, and Alexis Bledel are all back for another emotional journey this summer. Check out the trailer:

Billboard.Com just reviewed Paula's new single "Dance Like There's No Tomrrow" and they loved it! They are hoping for that comeback that the rest of america is hoping for.

American Idol picked is final 24, now I'm gonna break it down and pic the top 12 to go to the final round. My first is Jason Castro.
Not feeling him but I think he'll go to top 12.

Seysha Mercado has a good voice but her likable factor is not so high. I was so over her in Hollywood week and I could care less if she goes or stays. I say top 8.

Not only does she get our sympathy vote but she could actually sing! She is talented! Top 5
