Wil's Dad Died!
Film actor/director Sydney Pollack has died. He was diagnosed with cancer a year ago but doctors didn't know what type of cancer he had. He was only 73. You all might recognize him as Wil Truman's Dad from Wil and Grace. Read Below:

ET has learned that Oscar-winning actor/director SYDNEY POLLACK ('Tootsie,' 'Out of Africa,' 'The Electric Horseman') died from cancer Monday at his Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles. He was 73.
Pollack was diagnosed approximately one year ago, but doctors reportedly were unable to determine what type of cancer he had.
A talented director who won an Oscar for 'Out of Africa,' the paternal, curly-haired Pollack was also recognizable for his many on-screen roles. He played DUSTIN HOFFMAN's agent in 'Tootsie' and appeared in 'Michael Clayton,' "Will & Grace" and, most recently, 'Made of Honor.'
The two most recent projects he was working on before he passed were 'The Reader' with KATE WINSLET and RALPH FIENNES (as a producer) and the current HBO political docudrama 'Recount' (as executive producer).
Pollack directed big names such as the legendary BARBRA STREISAND, who spoke out on the late director's behalf saying, "He knew how to tell a love story. He was a great actor's director because he was a great actor. And he was a very good friend, someone I even shared secrets with."
His 'Clayton' co-star GEORGE CLOONEY added, "Sydney made the world a little better, movies a little better and even dinner a little better. A tip of the hat to a class act. He'll be missed terribly."

Well it was no surprise that the fourth installment of Indiana Jones was gonna top the box office but the numbers were amazing. Indiana pulled in over 150 million since it's release on Thursday. I haven't seen the movie but will give a full review.

Oprah Moment (Serenade Me)
The definition of Serenade is as follows, Music. A complimentary performance given to honor or express love for someone.
That's what happened last night. I went out with a couple of my boys from Dodgeball to the Spot, which is our sponsor. It was karaoke night and we was drinking. I knew my boyfriend was downtown so I sent him a text to meet me there, and he did.
We were trying to find a song for my boyfriend to sing. Mean while my two boys sang "Endless Love" and I gots to say it was a little pitchy for me and he was shouting the song but they looked fabulous! I'm just saying.
My BF picked a Whitney Houston song "I Believe in You and Me" I was like, dang that's courageous but go ahead boy do yo thang!
Well not only did he get up there and SANG the song but he SANG it and looked at me the entire time. I almost teared up, it was soooooooooo sweet! He finished and brought the house down and said that was for me! AWWWWWWWWWWW!
So ya'll know I had to sing for him too! I got up there and sang FERGILICIOUS but said RODRILICIOUS instead!
Um, HELL TO THE NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya'll know I am the dancer in this relationship and unless there was a studio there, I was not gonna sing live in front of his Luther Vandross self!
Anyway, it was truly one of the sweetest moments to be serenaded like that.

Driving to work today and I was at a red light and a car pulls up next to me with music bumping and his sunroof open. The guy was in a Mercedes c230 looking like he was in his mid 30s. He was bumping to Paula Abdul's "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" the remix by Paul Oakenfold. I was so excited I was trying to get his attention because our windows were rolled up and I was moving my mouth saying "I love that song!" But he thought I was probably hitting on him and he made a face and sped away. I was like how rude!

Its all music by the Beatles and its basically showing what the histeria would be like today if the Beatles were around. Its movement is hip hop influenced.

My boyfriend went to see an Opera last week that was based on a story of Susanna from the bible. I asked about the Opera and wanted to know the story. He asked me if I have ever heard the story and I haven't. He proceeded to tell me about the Opera and the story of Susanna.

Clay Aiken New Album!
Clay Aiken released his new album "On My Way Here" on Tuesday May 6th. The album has gotten favorable reviews and most would like Clay to accept his Barry Manilow side and embrace it.
Clay is gonna have a hard time finding a spot in mainstream pop but all his Claymates are true fans and I'm sure this album will debut in the top ten this Wednesday.

Dance Like There's No Tomorrow (My Journey Back to Dance)
So I went to my second audition for the Open House Dance charity event. This audition was different than the last one. We get to audition the 7 choreographers by viewing several counts of their pieces. We do the steps and the choreographers view the dancers. We choose which choreographer to work with and the choreographers will email you if the choose you.
There were still many talented dancers at the audition but I felt confident that I was doing the right thing. I belonged there. I could dance just as well as some of those dancers if not better. I guess I'll have to wait and see if I get a part.

Iron Man Stiff on Top!
The summer blockbusters has officially begun with last week's film opening Iron Man who pulled in 100 million at the box office.
Iron Man has topped the box office for the second week in a row. After it's record breaking debut, the superhero movie pulled in 50 million at the box office putting a stop to this week's big debut "Speed Racer." The anime inspired film was butchered by critics which could explain it's weak opening at number 2 with 20 million. "Speed Racer" had a budget of 120 million and it looks like the movie will officially bomb.
The box office will see huge numbers in the next two weeks with the release of "Chronicles of Narnia" opening May 16th and "Indiana Jones" on May 22nd.

Jeff Archuleta was told this week by producers that he can no longer join 17-year-old son as David as he prepares for the show, the person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. The person wasn't authorized to comment publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
The show's action was first reported Friday by the online Web site TMZ.
David Archuleta of Murray, Utah, is one of three contestants left as the top-rated Fox show heads toward the Jan. 20-21 finale. The fresh-faced teenager with the big voice has consistently been deemed a front-runner by the judges and been a consistent fan favorite.
Jeff Archuleta's intense backstage involvement had become a source of concern for the series, the person connected with "American Idol" said — but it was a lyric change on Tuesday's show that pushed producers to act.
Despite a warning, Jeff Archuleta insisted on altering "Stand by Me," one of two songs his son sang on the show Tuesday. By adding a verse from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," the father incurred additional costs for "American Idol," the person said.
Fox declined comment. Attempts to reach Jeff Archuleta for comment were unsuccessful. A phone number listed under his name in Murray, Utah, was no longer in service, and Fox did not immediately respond to a request Friday evening for help in contacting the family.
Earlier Friday, David Archuleta was honored at a hometown celebration held at his high school in Murray, during which Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman declared "David Archuleta Day."
The singer and his family declined to be interviewed at the event, but David Archuleta did speak with the Salt Lake City Fox affiliate, KSTU-TV. "Wow," he exclaimed as he viewed the cheerleading squad outside his stretch limousine.
The other finalists left in competition for the "Idol" title and a record contract are David Cook and Syesha Mercado. Cook, a native of suburban Blue Springs, Mo., had his own homecoming celebration Friday in Kansas City, while Mercado was feted Bradenton, Fla.

Leona Back on Top!
Leona Lewis has reclaimed the number one position thanks to her performance on American Idol. "Bleeding Love" has moved up from 2 to 1 in the charts this week. Lil Wayne fell to the 2nd spot while Jordin Sparks is holding steady at 3. Madonna has made a leap from 6 to 4 and Usher rounds up the top 5. Mariah Carey's former non-deserving number 1 single "Touch My Body" is falling to number 7 and her new single debuted at number 23 but "Bye Bye" is quickly dropping to number 32 this week. Mariah Carey has been dating actor Nick Cannon for about a month and now reports have confirmed that the pop diva and the forgettable actor have eloped and married at her home in the Bahamas. A few guests attended the ceremony including best friend and former star The Brat.
