The number 1 movie in America is the horror flick 30 Days of Night. The stylish new take on a vampire movie, sucked other movies dry for the number 1 spot pulling in 16 million. Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" dropped to the number 2 spot raking in 12 million respectively. Perry's WDIGM held the debuts of Ben Affleck's "Gone Baby Gone" and " The Comebacks".
Two surprises at the box office and that's Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" pulls in 5 million and despite an all star cast Reese Witherspoon's "Rendition" failed to draw movie goers.
