Paula Reschedule's Today Show Performance

Paula cancelled her April 25th performance to kick off the Today Show Concert series. It has now been confirmed that she rescheduled it for Friday August 29th. Read below:

This is from the NYPost.com, Michael Starr's blog: OK, so now Paula Abdul will perform on the "Today" show, after canceling her original April 25 live performance (part of the show's summer concert series). Abdul is now scheduled to appear on "Today" Friday, Aug. 29 - the first show back in New York following "Today's" two- week sojourn to Beijing for the Summer Olympics. Abdul's rep said yesterday that, "She looks forward to performing for her loyal and supportive fans and being a part of the prestigious 'Toyota Concert Series on 'Today,'"- attributing the cancellation of Abdul's April 25 "Today" performance to a "production commitment" on "American Idol."

This makes perfect sense. Her new album is scheduled for a Sept release date and she needs to promote it. The April performance made no sense due to the fact that the single has run its course after it debut in January. Paula is playing this quite smart and effectively. She will perform a new single for her new album.

i think paula right now is too busy with idol to have time to really rehearse the today show performance. so shes better off doing it in august anyway when idol is on hiatus
