American Gangster took the number one spot at the box office over the weeken taking in 46 million. This is one of Dezel Washington's best opening. It comes as no surprise that American Gangster did as well as it did due to praise from Critics.
Despite the luke warm reviews, Bee Movie stung its spot at number 2 with 39 million. Saw 4 fell way behind at number three with 11 million. Looks like Bee and American Gangster gave a much needed lift to the box office.
