She sold an amazing 742,000 copies in the first week of release. I guess that horrific song is helping her out and with her performance at the AMA's she is sure to take the number 1 spot next week as well.
Josh Groban's Christmas CD is number 2. (Yawn) He performed on Oprah's favorite things show last night so he is guaranteed sales for this week as well.
Celine Dion has sold 214,000 copies of her CD "Taking Chances". Not bad for someone who has not had a CD in four years. Although the numbers are quite low considering the heavy promotion she has been pushing for the past week. She is taking the stage tonight on Dancing With The Stars, she sure to get some sales there.
