I went to the Center on Halsted yesterday and I have to say, it's pretty fricken cool. I got a tour of the Center and was informed of all the great programs for our community. It was refreshing to see that our community is heading in the right direction.
I went because I will be dedicating much of my time at the ALMA foundation as a volunteer and will be on the board. I am hoping to snag that Executive Director position by May of 08. We'll see. I am gonna be all up in people's faces for fundraising, attending events, and promoting awareness.
