Josh Groban sho did his thang! He is the number one album for the 5th week in a row selling an amazing 757,000 copies. Since his appearance on Oprah's favorite things show, he has outsold himself each week increasing in sales at least 12 percent each week. He is the biggest selling CD of 2007.
Coming in at number 2 with no shame in her game is my girl Mary J Blige with her new CD "Growing Pains" selling 629,000 copies. It's amazing that Mary sold that much even though her new single "Just Fine" is not getting much radio play. The song is bumpin but radio ain't feeling it. Go head Mary! The Queen of Hip Hop, R&B, & Soul, sho did sho that's she's "Just Fine!"
Alicia Keys had a 62 percent sales increase selling 474,000 copies but despite that she slipped to number 3 on the charts. The Eagles managed to sell another 313,000 copies of their CD "Long Road Out of Eden." I must say that the Eagles sure did manage to pull off the Comeback of the year! Their CD has been in the top ten since it's release in October.
I guess all these artist are sho having a Happy Holiday!
