Alanis Morissette is finally going to release a new album called "Flavors of Entanglement." She is combining all elements of sounds that she is drawn to from organic beats to hip hop beats. The album will definitely represent her personal struggles over the last few years, especially her break up with Ryan Reynolds.
Alanis states that her album will reflect personal issues as well as political. She states: "Really, in the end, the personal struggles are political. Our emotions align themselves with larger symptomatic things in the world," Morissette explains. "We face a large war out there, but [the album] more closely reflects the war in peoples' living rooms... the icy silence at home, versus the big cold war."
I looove this woman! She really reaches down to find the pain within herself and shows us with her music. If you are not a fan of Alanis, you are missing the thoughts and talent of a true artist.
