It was our season opener yesterday as a new team in a new division. It was drama getting to the park because there was a marathon and we could not get into the field to park.
I was a mess because I thought we were going to be late and forfeit our game. But luckily we got there on time.
Our first game we lost by 1 run in extra innings. It was a good game we were up by 7 at one point but we couldn't keep it together.
Our second game we won! It was a good game with some good hits as well as some great catches made by the entire team. We played surprising well in this division and we hope to get better as the season continues.
Our sister team lost both games, the Vintage Reds had a rough season opener but its only the first game. Hopefully as the season continues they can age to perfection.
