Yes, Brokeback Mountain will debut as an Opera in the Spring of 2013. The New York City Opera commissioned Charles Wuorinen to compose the Opera. I think that's wonderful but why the fuck do I got to wait 5 years to watch it? It really takes that long to compose an Opera? I wonder who the two cowboys will be? I can't wait!
