Yvette's 4Oth Bday Vegas Trip

Yes, Yvette turned 40 and looked damn hot in her dress! We hit the strip to go clubbing to ring in the big 4-0. Ya'll know Yvette was co-starring in the Gladiator Sequel.

Yvette's bday dinner! We is lookin fizzine as hell!

Stephanie and I being Trashalicious at a Casino. I tried to lift her but it was too much booty in her pants for me to lift.

This is Yvette's night out. We went to an outside bar called Hawallian Tropic Zone. It was off the chiizanne we danced to all our favorites. The shots started pretty early.

Stephanie went out for Yvette's bday but in this picture she is secretly saying. This is about me! This is my night!

Trying to get my pose on! Poparodc was hounded!

See, I told ya'll. She was literally saying here, "it's about me! Yvette who?" she was also doing what she does best, going down!

Why does Yvette look scared here? Stephanie trying to get a man and Javie looks awfully close to the gladiator.

This is Poparodc laughing at the "Hot Tranny Mess" behind me. Her ass knew that leopard print should not have been worn by her and that size 12 shoulda been a 16. I''m just saying!

Big Momma backing her thang up! Big girls! Why must you think that print is yo friend????? It ain't!

Broke ass version of Elvis trying to get his play on with these trashlettes.

Joe fell asleep, Yvette woke his ass up.

Poparodc posing again. Don't worry ya'll, Yvette's tits were not falling she was just cold.

Told ya'll! "Its all about me"

So there was a chic dancing like crazy and then I danced with her skanky ass! I loved her! She was so trashy, I felt an instant connection with her so we started Juking!

Yes, the Former Fly Girls posing for a pic!

Stephanie saw a pole and felt right at home. She was going to interperet an episode of G-String Divas.
I also had to do my version of G-String Divas! By this time we was getting pretty trashed :)

Joe was attracted to the pole for some odd reason too.

Stephanie saw this bouncer as soon as she walked in and she was lovin some him. She took a picture with him and it looked like he liked him some Stephy!

Javie and I was trying to get close with some tongue action.

These horny fools could not take it to their room and started to make out all up in the club. She holding her coochie like its protected or something.

1st fashion mishap is the long dress. The 2nd is that it was wet pleather! Seriously! Take that shit back cuz aint no one like yo shit.

More juking, we had a good ol time!

Ok, I saw this bubble dress everywhere.

Big girls, if it comes in your size don't mean you could wear it. This is a bubble dress and not meant to be worn by those shaped like a bubble. If you stretched out the middle part of the dress, this dress is not for you. But don't worry, I don't blame you. I blame your girl friends for not being true and letting yo ass go out like this. Dump them friends cuz they let you wear something that looks like a glittery glad bag!

Again, big girls rockin the print!

Stephanie and I trying to rock our red carpet pose. It aint workin!

ME! ME! ME!
Cholo Love!
What happends in Vegas stays in Vegas. Especially your one night stands, nuf said. I aint mad cuz he is cute!

Stephanie at cock level!

Aww Group love!

Stephanie, please tell you dropped this like a hot tamale! This aint for you.

I hope she has panties on cuz then we may bring something back from Vegas.

Thats a wide load you got there! Hope you can handle it!

Yvette, thats hot! Take that home now!

Yvette, whacha doin?

Duh Moment (How Many Fluids Does a Car Have?)

Please keep in mind that today's Duh Moment reflects a time when I knew nothing of cars. Um, kinda like today.

I just had bought my first car 88 Mercury Tracer hatchback. My dad never really talked to me about cars or showed me how to care for them so I had to learn as I go. I had the car for a couple of years when all of a sudden the car would not go in reverse. I was mad as hell! I would step on the gas and nothing. I kept stepping on the gas and the car would not move and then it would jolt and finally go into reverse.

I did mention this to my dad but he paid no mind. Actually, I didnt pay any attention to his response cuz he told me what to check but he told me while I was watching All My Children and Tad & Dixie were getting married so I didnt hear a word he said. A few months went by and the car would do the same thing from time to time.

One day I was shopping at the Brickyard, yes I said Brickyard for all you Chicagoans the Brickyard was the shit! That mall was poppin! Anyway, I went into my car and it wouldn't go in reverse so I gave it gas to the full extreme and when all of said the car jumped and made a huge bang. The car was rattling so much I was scared. I drove it home and found that it wouldn't go forward now either. I was a mess getting the car home cuz the car was shake, rattle, and rollin. I finally got home and parked that bitch. I went inside calmly and said "Dad the car is messed up, I don't know whats wrong with it." He went came back and was mad as hell, like it was my fault the car was bunk!

He had it towed and the next day I was watching One Life To Live, Tina and Cord were having issues cuz Tina slept with Johnny and got pregnant. Well Tina didn't know who the father was but she told Cord she was pregnant with his baby. It was getting good. Any fucking way! Let me finish telling you all the story.

I was watching my soap, cuz it was summer time, and my dad answered the phone and all I heard was "What! It can't be! That's not possible!" I heard the phone slam and I was like "Dang someone's in trouble, I wonder what my brother did?" He asked me, "Did you check the fucking transmission fluid when I told you to?" I said "Transmission Fluid? I don't even know where that is?" He said "Where do you get your oil changed?" yelling. I said " Calm down, geez! Oil Change? Well when the oil light comes on I add more just like Erica showed me how!" That seem to enrage him even more and said "You never changed the oil?" How long have you been doing that? I was like "I dont know like a year or two"

"You fucking idiot!" he yelled. The car had no transmission fluid it was dry, no oil and no antifreeze!!! I didn't even know what those things were. He said now I have to change the transmission and it is gonna cost me 800 dollars and your paying for it!

I was like daaayum! I couldnt believe he was gonna charge me? I mean seriously, I didn't know all those items and he never taught me. So then I got brave and said "Well I shouldnt pay for it cuz its your fault for not teaching me about a car like a dad is suppose to do. So you pay for it! You never told me about no transmission much less a fluid. You just said oil and gas.

Needless to say, there was no more car for me and he was livid! I was grounded and he tried to make me pay for it but I never did.

So my duh moment is not knowing a fucking transmission or a fluid then having the nerve to blame someone else and still asked for the car as soon as it was back from the shop. Its a damn shame!

The Charts!

Hot 100

Lil Wayne still holds the number one song in America with 'Lollipop.' (Just a thought, would you hit Lil Wayne? I mean those grills may hurt if he was blowin me. But seriously I think that even if I was totally trashed drunk I would not hit that. Some of ya'll would though, I know some whorey peeps that would hit it. No shame in their game!)

Leona Lewis keeping the number 2 spot warm with her massive hit 'Bleeding Love.'

Cold Play enjoying a luke warm comeback to the charts with their hit 'Viva La Vida' at number 3.

Rihanna loves the top ten and her former number one hit, 'Take a Bow', slips to the 4th spot.

Rounding the top 5 is newcomer Katy Perry with 'I Kissed a Girl.'

The rest of the chart is showing some decline in our favorite artists. 2008 American Idol winner David Cook slips from 3 to 9 with 'Time of My Life' and Madonna slips 8-10 with her comeback hit '4 min to save the world.' Thank God Mariah Carey is showing big signs of decline with 'Touch My Body' slipping 13- 18 and 'Bye Bye' at number 22. I'm just hoping radio says 'Bye Bye' to all her damn songs.

Billboard 200

As previously reported, that damn cocky ass Usher has the number 1 album in America.

The Sex & The City soundtrack debuts at number 2 with 66, 000 copies.

Mariah Carey continues her decline and so does Madonna. Mariah's album 'E=MC2' slips to number 8 and 'Hard Candy' slips to 11.

Al Green is enjoying a huge comeback! At 62yrs old and over 30yrs in the business he has a new album that debuts at number 9. Impressive!

But more impressive is that Frank Sinatra is still loved even though he's gone. His new greatest hits package has debut at number 2 slipped to number 4 last week and now at number 6. Just shows that we still love old blue eyes!

Luke Menard has Cancer

Luke Menard, an "American Idol" finalist, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Handsome "American Idol" finalist Luke Menard has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma (a cancer of the immune system), according to a report in CBS News.

The network says a rep from the singer's group, Chapter 6, has confirmed the disease, considered one of the most curable forms of cancer.

"Luke had a lingering cough and was having trouble breathing deeply, so he went to the doctor to have it checked out," Jane Victor, a spokesman for Chapter 6 told CBS News. "The suspicion was walking pneumonia. But after a chest X-ray doctors saw a mass and did more testing, which is what led to the stage II Hodgkin diagnosis." Menard is 29 and married.

"They've been told that it's treatable and manageable. Luke is currently in Los Angeles and plans to return home to Indiana soon," Victor said.

The five-year relative survival rate of stage II Hodgkin's disease is 90 to 95 percent, according to the American Cancer Society. It is inoperable but treatable.

Menard made it into the top 16 on this season of "American Idol." He was voted off the show March 6. During the show he sang "Everybody's Talkin' ,'' "Killer Queen" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."

How sad, everyone here at Poparodc is praying for Luke's recovery.

Confessions of a Ghetto Co-Worker (Only 1 Bitch in dis House)

So here is another confession of a ghetto co-worker story. I love them!

We are gonna name this girl Tanya. I like to protect the identity of my ghetto co-workers.

I had to ask Tanya a question regarding a loan but she was on the phone so I waited for her to hang up. Her phone call all of sudden got loud and she said the following "Listen you fucking Whore! There is only 1 bitch in that house and that is me. If you even try to out bitch me I will whoop yo fucking ass and staple yo pussy to that fucking chair! Now sit ya ass down and if I hear one more compliant I am leaving work to whoop your ass!" and she slams the phone down.

I was in shock and said is everything ok? She said "Yeah just don't have kids, especially a daughter." I said ya teenagers can be a hand full. She said " I know but Tory is only 5 I can't even imagine her at 15."

She yelled at her 5 year old like some hooker off the street. Hell no! I'm all about discipline but daaaaayum. She could tame it down abit.

My co-worker also deserves a bitch slap for treating her 5yr old daughter like some skeeza.

Obama won the Democratic Nomination but we wish it were Hillary!

She has voiced that she would be open to be the VP. Good job Hillary, cuz if Obama denies you then he ain't thinking of our country as he claims to be.

I would rather vote for McCain than Obama! But if he chooses Hillary then my vote is with them.

30 Upcoming Movie Sequels You Didn't Know About

I looooooooooove sequels and trilogies! I am so down with Friday the 13th part 67, Bring it! Here are a list of sequels in various states of production.

The Brazilian Job: the follow up to Paramount’s US remake of The Italian Job is still on the cards, and it’s got a 2009 release date marked. Jason Statham, Mos Def, Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron are attached, as is director F Gary Gray.

I, Robot 2: All we know on this one is that it’s in the scripting stages still, with a potential 2010 release date planned in. No news on Mr Smith's involvement.

I Am Legend 2: Warner’s huge Christmas 2007 hit could also have a follow up, although it’d be interesting to see if Will Smith returned to it. A 2010 release date is also being mooted for this one.
Beverly Hills Cop 4: If Die Hard can still do it at the box office, why can’t Axel Foley? Er, because the third BHC movie was crap, and a flop. Still, it’s not stopped development work going ahead on number four. No further news than that, though.

National Treasure 3: Not a huge surprise, but as the Nic Cage Indiana Jones knock off franchise has proved to be quite a juggernaut, you’ll only have to wait until 2011 for the third film in the series.

Cars 2: We spotted this on AintItCool – is Pixar really looking to make a sequel to its weakest film? Apparently so…

Toy Story 3: This one, after lots of umming and ahhing, appears to be a goer. It won’t, as was speculated, be a straight-to-DVD affair, and Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are both expected back on voicing duties. It’ll be out in 2010.

Jeepers Creepers 3: MGM is running the rule over a potential third instalment in the horror franchise, with director Victor Salva still attached. Hmmm.

Shrek 5: The fourth film was a no-brainer after the tepid third outing made so much cash. But a fifth instalment has also been confirmed. No wonder Shrek is the same colour as an American dollar…

Night at the Museum 2: Ben Stiller is returning for his most commercially successful role outside of the Meet the Parents franchise. We can wait. No news on the proposed Meet The Little Focker, though.

Crank 2: High Voltage: This is more like it. Crank is a guilty pleasure right up there with Snakes on a Plane, and it’s coming back for more. Shooting starts next month, for a 2009 release, and Jason Statham returns as Chev Chelios. As he should.

Transporter 3: Statham again. He’s making this too, and it’s in pre-production. Presumably, he’ll go from Crank 2 straight onto this.Super Troopers 2: A sequel nobody asked for! Hurray! Expect it in 2010, as it’s in the early writing stages still, we believe.

Silent Hill 2: Sony is looking at a follow up to the crap-but-popular video game adaptation. 2010 is the current slated release date.

The Descent 2: We understand that Neil Marshall won’t be directed this one, which has the, er, working title of The De2cent. He’s attached as Executive Producer, with Jon Harris stepping behind the camera (he edited the first film, as well as the more recent Stardust).

The Grudge 3: Yup, it’s in pre-production now, for release next year. That’ll likely be the scariest thing about it.

Ice Age 3: 1st July 2009. That’s the date you’ll need to avoid if you want to miss the next Ice Age movie. Hopefully it’ll be better than the second one…

Ghost Rider 2: A surprise hit last year, Marvel is developing a follow-up to the Nic Cage comic book flick, and tentatively has 2009 marked for release. No director is thus far attached. The Untouchables: Capone Rising: A prequel to Brian De Palma’s cracking prohibition thriller of, er, twenty years ago. De Palma is back behind the camera, and the project is in the pre-production stages now.

The Thomas Crown Affair 2: Weird, this. It’s taken them ages to do a sequel, and then they draft in Paul Verhoeven to direct a follow-up to someone else’s film. Pierce Brosnan returns, and filming starts shortly.

The People Under The Stairs 2: No sign of any Wes Craven involvement, though, and release may even be this year. Hmmm. We'd wager DVD will be its home.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor: Er, that’s what they’ve called The Mummy 3, which is out on 1st August. Brendan Fraser and Jet Li star.

Punisher: War Zone: Ray Stevenson becomes the third person to play The Punisher on screen. You’ll be able to find out how he did on 12th September this year.

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder: Casper Van Diem is back, but it’s still going straight to DVD, as the piss-awful second film did. It’s due out later this year.

Pink Panther 2: Oh dear. And I’m a Steve Martin fan. It’s out on 13th February 2009.

Ace Ventura 3: No Jim Carrey though, and no chance of it seeing the inside of a cinema. Head to Blockbuster later in the year if you want to catch it.

War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave: Another straight to DVD sequel, but this one’s of note because it’s directed by Soul Man/Hitcher star C Thomas Howell. Blimey.

Jurassic Park 4: It’s taken them ages to sort this out, but the latest is that Laura Dern is still attached, and that it’ll be released in 2009. Don’t hold your breath though, as shooting would need to start really very soon...

Scary Movie 5/Saw 5: You could have guessed at these if you didn’t know about them already. Both should see the light before the end of the year. Sadly.

23 TV shows heading to the big screen

Magnum Tom Selleck and his moustache are absent from the planned cast list of the big screen Magnum movie right now, with Matthew McConaughey in the running for the lead role. The script is written, and now it’s up to director Rawson Marshall Thunder (Dodgeball) to get it filmed for a planned 2009 release.

I, Claudius Producer Scott Rudin has optioned the Robert Graves original novel, although he’ll have a tough job beating the terrific BBC adaptation of old. 2010 at the earliest for this one too, which is still at the writing stage.

The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole Adapted for a TV show in the 1980s, Sue Townsend’s creation could be hitting the big screen, with The Wedding Date director Clare Kilner currently attached to the project. The film’s in pre-production.

Alan Partridge: The Movie Steve Coogan’s most famous and funniest creation – if you scrub the last series of I’m Alan Partridge from your memory – could yet hit the big screen, if a script ever gets completed to everyone’s satisfaction. 2009 is the earliest we’ll see it.

Arrested Development The wonderful American sitcom that was so good it got canned is coming to the big screen! Expected release date is 2009, and all of the show’s cast and crew appear to be attached. Result!

The A TeamThe movie is still pressing ahead, with John ‘Shaft remake’ Singleton in the director’s chair. Latest casting rumours: Woody Harrelson as Murdock and Ice Cube as B.A. Take with pinches of salt. The film’s due in 2010.

Wonder Woman Originally this had Joss Whedon attached, but he’s moved on to other things. Producer Joel Silver still has the film on his slate, though, although the targeted 2009 release date will be tough to hit.

Masters of the Universe Joel Silver had also been lobbying to get the rights for a big-screen adventure for He-Man and company. The project, however, seems stuck in development hell for the time being.

Thundercats Jerry O’Flaherty – a video game art director who worked on the likes of Gears Of War and Daikatana (remember that?!) – is the odd choice to direct the big screen Thundercats movie. We understand it’ll be animated rather than live action, and will be out in 2010.

V: The Second Generation This is looking like a television project that’s a follow on to the 1983 mini-series. Kenneth Johnson, who worked on the original V and directed Short Circuit 2 as well, is attached to the mini-series.

The Sweeney With Ray Winstone reported to be singing on to play Regan, the planned movie of The Sweeney – buoyed in no small way by the success of Life On Mars – is moving ahead. It’s in pre-production for a 2009 release, with Nick ‘The Business’ Love directing.

Hustle The BBC’s hit con artist drama is heading to America courtesy of Fox. The big screen version has director Deon Taylor attached, and should be filming this year. State of PlayCurrently filming for release next year is Hollywood’s remake of the cracking BBC drama series. Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams and Helen Mirren are in the cast, under the stewardship of director Kevin ‘The Last King Of Scotland’ Macdonald.

The Prisoner Will Christopher Nolan really direct the big screen version of the iconic Patrick McGoohan TV show? With a screenplay by Janet and David Webb Peoples, this could have solid gold stamped right the way through it…

ChiPs Ready for a big screen bout of Chicago Highway Patrol? Warner Bros is developing the project for possible release next year; writers are attached to the film now, with Wilma Valderrama (from Party Monster and Fast Food Nation) reported to be interesting the casting team.

Fraggle Rock The MovieGiven the fact that big screen Muppet movies are – tragically – a thing of the past (or are they - see the next entry), this one was a bit of a surprise. But Fraggle Rock has been optioned, and a writer is being sought for the project. 2009 is the earliest we’ll see it.

The Muppets But here’s a stop press! There’s talk of a Muppet revival, with Jason Segal and Nick Stoller writing and directing the project. Hurray!

The Smurfs Blame the huge success of Alvin & The Chipmunks for this, as now The Smurfs are being dusted down for a big screen outing. Colin Brady is down to direct, and John Lithgow may be persuaded to lend his vocal talents to the film. 2009 is the planned release year.

Dallas Betty Thomas – who did the The Brady Bunch Movie (great) and Dr Doolittle (rubbish) is down to direct the big screen tale of J.R. et al. They’re looking to start filming this year, if all goes to plan. Cast is yet to be finalised, though.SpacedThis link is all you need to know about this one. Sigh.

The Tripods Remember the series that the BBC showed back in the 80s? Well, a bit more cash could be being spent on The Tripods this time, with Gregor ‘Buffalo Soliders’ Jordan in the director’s chair. It could hit the big screen in 2009.Prison Break:

Cherry Hill A potential spin-off of Fox’s hit TV series, although if it comes about it’s all but certain to be a small screen project.

Mighty Mouse A big screen animated Mighty Mouse movie is being planned for 2010, with Nickelodeon stumping up the dollars to make it.

38 Planned Movie Remakes You Didn't Know About

Hollywood is on a remake frenzy! I guess the creative juices in HWood is running dry. Here are the 38 remakes on the horizon:

Simon Brew
We’ve already pointed out recently 30 sequels that were in the works in the factories of Hollywood – but how about remakes? Cast your eyes over this little lot, and prepare to be depressed…

The Shadow Presumably this a reboot of the hilarious-but-iffy Alec Baldwin non-franchise of the mid-90s. Sam Raimi is producing, and the project is at the screenplay stage right now. Expect a release no sooner than 2010.

Battle Royale The brilliant, brilliant, brilliant Asian movie is getting a Western remake. Producer Neal H Moritz is currently attached to the project, which has been optioned but not yet got much further. It didn’t help that New Line was linked with funding the film, and the same New Line got swallowed up by Warner Bros totally the other week.

Starfighter A planned remake of the 1984 movie The Last Starfighter, which remains popular today. Nick Castle is currently attached to direct the project (he did the original as well, although his biggest hit as director is the 1993 kids’ movie Dennis). We fear this one may get lost in development hell. Hope not.

The Evil Dead Sam Raimi is attached to the remake of one of his most loved films, with both he and Bruce Campbell on producing duties. Set for release at some point next year, they’ll have to get their skates on, as there’s no sign of cameras being turned on just yet.

Knight Rider Forget the recent TV rebooting, the Weinstein Company has the option to produce a feature film, and the original creator of Knight Rider – Glen A Larson – is hard at work on the screenplay. Expect a release around 2010/11. If the new TV version doesn’t kill the franchise stone dead, of course…

Conan The Barbarian The script is still being written for the remake of one of Arnie’s best-ever roles. It’s a fair bet that Arnie won’t be returning, but Sahara scribes Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer are beavering away on the screenplay. Production may yet start this year, apparently.

Logan’s Run Uber-producer Joel Silver is pushing this long-mooted remake, which has director Joseph Kosinski attached (whose name is also being linked with the new Tron film). Logan’s Run is believed to be first in line, though, and a 2010 release is being mooted.

Death Wish Sylvester Stallone is set to step into the role made famous by Charles Bronson in a remake of Michael Winner’s violent original. Stallone is set to write, produce and star, and production is planned to start at some point this year.

The Taking Of Pelham 123 Tony Scott is directing, and Denzel Washington and John Travolta are starring in a remake of the brilliant 1974 Walter Matthau original. David Koepp has written the screenplay, and the film will be released in the Autumn of 2009.

Fahrenheit 451 Frank Darabont – he of Shawshank Redemption and The Mist fame – has been linked with a fresh take on the Ray Bradbury book for a while. It seems he’s getting closer to honing a script too for him to direct, but it’s still not ready, so no idea of release date. Tom Hanks had been mooted to star.

Friday The 13th Marcus Nispel – director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake – has inked his name on the dotted to helm the remake of the original Friday The 13th movie. It’s a great solution: run out of sequels, start at the beginning! It’s in pre-production now for a 2009 release.

Last House On The Left A remake of the brutal 70s Wes Craven movie, this time it’s relative-newcomer Dennis Illiadis in the director’s chair. The cast is rumoured to feature Liv Tyler, along with Monica Potter, Garret Dillahunt and Tony Goldwyn. It’s due to start filming next month,

Hellraiser They’ve given up making sequels, so now they’re remaking the 80s original. No sign of Doug Bradley as Pinhead, but Clive Barker has been involved with the script, and Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury will be making their English language directorial debuts with the project.

Tron Will it be a sequel? Will it be a remake? Will they call it a ‘reimagining’? All these questions and more are set to be answered, as three decades on, Tron will be heading back to the big screen in 2010.

Clash of the Titans The 1981 film is being remade, and Stephen Norrington has – after not being seen behind a camera since League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen – agreed to direct. He did the original Blade, too. Lawrence Kasdan has been penning the script, and the film is in pre-production for a 2010 release.

Akira A live action version of the iconic anime film of the same name, the adaptation is believe to be being handled in two parts, and Leonardo DiCaprio has been linked with the project. It’s still at the scripting stage, although director Ruairi Robinson is attached to helm.

The Birds How depressing. Hitchcock’s awesome thriller is getting the remake treatment, with Martin ‘Casino Royale’ Campbell rumoured to be directing, and Naomi Watts linked with the project too. It has a release date of July 2009.

Frankenweenie Tim Burton’s terrific early short film is being brought to the big screen by… Tim Burton! There’s logic there, somewhere. December 2009 is the targeted release time.

A Nightmare On Elm Street Hurray! That ‘reimagining’ word is being used to describe the now-in-the-pre-production stages new Elm Street movie. Michael Bay produces, but doesn’t direct. Thank goodness.

Westworld The terrific forerunner to Jurassic Park – also penned by Michael Crichton – Westworld has long been mooted for a remake. Billy Ray, who directed Breach and Shattered Glass, is the latest writer to take a stab at the theme-park-attraction-goes-out-of-control concept.

The Warriors Director Tony Scott – once he’s finished on The Taking Of Pelham 123 - remains attached to the proposed remake of Walter Hill’s 1979 classic tale of rival gangs on a mission that takes them across a dangerous city. It’s still in the writing stages, and may be held up in development hell for some time yet.

Piranha Alexandra Aja, who enjoyed success with his remake of The Hills Have Eyes, is directing a potentially 3D version of Joe Dante’s terrific original. A 2009 release date has been eyed up.

Escape From New York Another John Carpenter classic is getting remade, and Terminator 3 director Jonathan Mostow – with Ken Nolan - is taking a stab at the script. No word if he’s going to direct, but a 2009 release is mooted.

Meatballs Another 80s comedy getting a remake, Meatballs has – oh dear – Big Momma’s House 2 (not even the original!) director John Whitesell attached to it. And no sign of Bill Murray, either. Never a good thing.

Howard Stern’s Porkys A remake of Bob Clark’s bawdy early 80s comedy, this is still in the planning stages with US shock-jock lending his name to the project and the title. It’s planned to have it ready for 2009. Expect an array of shitty sequels if it hits.

The Lives Of Others The stunning German film is getting an American remake, with Anthony Minghella attached to produce, but not direct. It’s only been optioned so far, so 2010 would be the earliest you see it. Our advice? See the original. It’s genuinely stunning.

Short Circuit Number Five is, er, still alive, with original screenwriters coming back for the reboot of the 80s original. No news of a finished script, director or shooting date, though.

Straw Dogs Rod Lurie – the man who directed The Contender – is scripting and directing the remake of the Dustin Hoffman-starring original. It’s only been optioned thus far, and so the planned 2009 release date may be optimistic.

1984 Tim Robbins is apparently hunting for the money for a new big screen adaptation of George Orwell’s classic and never-more-relevant novel. He’s not having much luck though, we’re led to believe.

Red Sonja Roy Thomas (Conan The Destroyer) has been drafted in to write a screenplay for a new Red Sonja film, although don’t expect Arnie to be in it. Nor should you expect it soon.

The Dirty Dozen Alias veteran Josh Applebaum has the unenviable task of coming up with a suitable script for the remake of the original classic. 2010 is the earliest it’ll be released.

Footloose Surely not? The 80s musical could be coming back to life if director Kenny Ortega has anything to do with it. That said, given he directed High School Musical and its spin-offs, he’d probably be allowed to do anything he wanted in Hollywood right now. Sigh. Footloose has thus far been optioned, and may go before the camera this year.

Dune Frank Herbert’s source material is set to be mined again, for a new movie due out in 2010. Peter Berg, who directed the brilliant Friday Night Lights movie, is waving the megaphone, but further details are still sketchy.

The Thing A remake of the 1982 classic, that’s got Battlestar Galactica producer Ronald D Moore attached to it. That said, it’s being described as a companion rather than a remake. Hmmmm. No word on it going before the cameras yet.

Near Dark Kathryn Bigelow’s 1987 vampire flick enters the remake chamber, with music video director Samuel Bayer making his debut in the directors’ chair on the film. Cast has yet to be announced, but it appears that Bigelow has had a hand in the screenplay.

The Swarm This is more like it! Lots of bees! Frank Schaetzing’s book is plundered again for the big screen, with Silence Of The Lambs adapter Ted Tally on scripting duties. No director or cast yet, though.

Fame Alan Parker’s 1980 musical is being remade by MGM, who originally had a Christmas 2008 release date inked in. Andy Finkman – who directed The Game Plan and She’s The Man – is down to direct, though, and the project will no doubt move forward shortly.

The Witches Roald Dahl’s book has already been filmed with Anjelica Huston in the leading role, but Guillermo Del Toro is toying with the idea of having a stab himself. No start date has been announced for the project, though.

Confessions of a Ghetto Co-Worker (It's a Bit Tart)

I have worked with some ghetto folks and somehow I attract them all. I have decided to share some of my ghetto co-worker stories. I know these stories may sound crazy but they is true!

I had been working at mortgage company for about a year and I became real cool with my coworker Yvette. Yvette was this ultra cool, forward black girl that was raising a girl on her own. She began to tell me about a very unfreshly moment she had.

Yvette woke up one day got ready to go to work. She decided to wear a skirt with a very cute top. She went to work and did her business all day. She said that on her way home she was on the train and began to smell something foul and stank. She said to herself "This is some nasty shit! What the fuck smells?" She had looked at the people around her making faces of disgust at them accusing them of being stank! She said she began to sniff to see where the foul sent was coming from. She sniffed to her right, she sniffed to her left, then she bowed her head and sniffed when she realized it was coming from underneath her skirt.

Yvette said she was so horrified that she had a horrible scent, she kept her legs closed and the train couldn't get to her stop any faster. She was so embarrassed and ran home to clean up but to her surprise her man was over. He greeted her and started to kiss her wanted some action. Self conscious about her scent, Yvette didn't know what to do but confess. She pulled away and said "Baby I can't right now! I'm a little tart right now" and she went to shower.

I was dying of laughter when she told me the story. I should give her stank ass a BSD for having a stanky pussy! That aint tart that is called an infection bitch!

Drop! The New Low!

Skeletor Still Trying to Sing English

Ok, Marc Skeletor Anthony is recording three albums and trying to release them all by the end of the year. He is recording a Spanish tropical album, Spanish ballad album, and an English pop record which will feature collaborations with Billy Joel and Babyface.

Seriously! Your English albums suck and don't sell well. Why are you trying to cross over, no one is feeling you in movies and no one is trying to buy yo records.

Stop! Just let JHO record another album.

Not only have the 'New Kids on the Block' reunited, they have a sold out tour, they have a hit single, and now a full new album being released in September. The first album in nearly 20 years will be released on September 8th via Interscope records.
