As you all know that my relationship has ended. I have had an amazing group of friends that are helping me through the rough time. But one friend in particular gave me some great advice and told me that I have two choices to make at this point.

So Britney spears was released from the hospital yesterday and then was found driving her mercedes around. I just don't know what to say anymore this has Anna Nicole Smith written all over it. I was very happy that her dad had temporary custody of her health and finances. What does this mean? She can't be better? God Bless her! If you missed American Idol last night, you missed a heartbreaking story about Asia Epperson. She called her dad to tell her she was going to American Idol two days before auditions and he was killed in a car accident 30min later. I was balling! I was a mess for this girl who just was filled with courage to do what she did.





Another heartbreaking story was about Josiah Leming who is 18 years old and lives in his car. I was just an emotional mess with American Idol. I just had tissue and was crying like a baby!

Heath Dies of Accidental Overdose

The AP is reporting that Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of Painkillers, anti anxiety meds, and sleeping pills. The poor guy was probably under much mental stress over his work and his probablem sleeping. I hope all the speculation will stop now and let Heath rest in peace.

Gay in the City (Starting Over)

So as my relationship started to grow it has come to an end. Unfortunately, Michael and I are no longer seeing each other. There are many factors as to why our relationship did not survive but the reasons are not the focus of what I have to do now. I waited 4 years to open up my mind and heart to the possiblity of love. I took a chance because it felt right and I have learned so much about myself and Michael in the past 3 months and I am greatful for that. He is an amazing person and I have nothing but respect for him. At this moment we both want to remain in each other's lives, we are going to try to establish a friendship together. God places people in our lives for a reason and we are trying to discover what that reason is for each other.

For those of you that met him, please know if you see him again show him some love. He really is a great guy that praised my friendships and constantly told me how lucky I was to have all of my friends. He was quite touched that all of you made him feel that he belonged and he thanks everyone for that gift.

Having said all that I am a bit frightened to go back out into the dating world. I feel at times that I tried it and it didnt work so I'm done. Another part of me feels that I have come such a long way, why I am stopping now? I feel a bit of confusion and sadness for the loss of the relatinship. It does make you unvoluntarily question yourself worth and your purpose. I am alot stronger than I was 5 years ago and hopefully handeling things much differently. I don't want to stay out of the dating world for another 4 years but I know I'm not ready at this point. The question now becomes, when do you know you're ready to start over?

Paula Gets A Good Review!

For most people, Super Bowl Sunday was all about watching the Big Game. Would the New England Patriots finish with a perfect season or would the New York Giants pull off the ultimate upset?
In my apartment, however, Sunday was about something else entirely. Not Tom Petty and the Pacemakers' halftime show, not Jordin Sparks' national anthem (although, can I get a witness?), not the commercials (even the ones with Richard Simmons). For the Cantiello Household, Super Bowl XLII meant one thing.
The return of Paula Abdul, superstar.
Sure, her pregame performance of "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" was pretaped. And yes, it certainly looked like she was lip-syncing Cotillard-style. But I have to admit, I thought she nailed it.
Before you start furiously commenting about me "going soft," hear me out.
Paula Abdul was never famous for her singing ability. She was always first and foremost a performer. Like Janet Jackson before her and Britney Spears after, Abdul's live shows were all about dancing and spectacle. (She's shared the stage with an animated cat, a re-animated deceased dance legend and a friggin' hovercraft! Your move, Beyoncé.) For critics to call her out for not singing live now — 12 years after her last album, and arguably 15 years after her last major hit — is kind of absurd.
"But Jim," you protest, "if Paula's going to lip-sync on television, who is she to judge other singers on 'American Idol'?" My answer is this: Paula Abdul pointing out pitch problems has been ridiculous since episode one (still not as ridiculous as when "Idol" invited Jennifer Lopez to coach singers, though). Plus, anyone who caught Gwen Stefani's pretaped and seemingly auto-tuned performance on last year's season finale knows that "Idol" is no stranger to less-than-live vocals when it comes to the occasional celebrity guest.
Take her canned vocals out of the equation and it's hard to deny that Paula's return to the stage was nothing short of triumphant. Her entrance was an adorable nod to her past. The former Laker Girl was propped up in a cheerleader formation while she sang the opening lines of her debut album's namesake, "Forever Your Girl." She had an infectious, beaming smile that never left her face for the entirety of her performance. And although she may not have moved as much as her background dancers, you could tell that Paula was committing to each hip pop and head roll 100 percent (or, as she would say to an "Idol" contestant, "one million bajillion percent").
Paula looked amazing too. I love her new haircut (we haven't seen the bangs on this season of "Idol" yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing them in weeks to come) and her outfit was MILF-tastic. She learned her lesson from her '91 VMA debacle, avoiding the bedazzled sausage leotard for a flattering, age-appropriate pantsuit that showed off her ripped arms and tiny frame.
If you asked me a week ago, I would have put money on Paula's appearance being a mess of "Gimme More" proportions. All signs pointed toward "train wreck." Paula hasn't performed in over a decade because of serious physical injuries. She's known more for her occasionally loopy appearances as a TV personality than as a hitmaker. And last summer, she was the star of a reality show that solidified the public's perception of her as an emotional wreck.
Considering all that baggage, the biggest underdog victory of Super Bowl XLII didn't belong to the New York Giants. It belonged to Paula.

They became engaged on Friday with a to die for ring! I was like dang! Bling! I am so happy for them. I was so touched to be one of the first they came to see to share their news.

I have to admit that when they first got together that I was not a big fan of their relationship. But in the past year and a half I have seen two people change from independant strong individuals to strong and loving partners. The great thing about these two is that I don't think that one is better than the other and that one brings more to this relationship than the other. These two are the true meaning of balance and love. They both possess equal qualities that most of us wish we could find in a partner. The best part of them together is that I love hanging with them together or alone. They have not lost their individuality and I can see them only grow more into their new life together. I truly admire their love, respect, and communication they have for each other. I can only hope to have that someday as well.

The only problem I have is that I know that they are fighting over me to be either the best man or the maid of honor. Ya'll need not to fight over me, I will be there! I also know that Marco had stated that when he gives Nancy a ring that I would get an IPHONE and I sho don't have one yet. I hope my phone is on order BIOTCH!!!!

Also, there ain't no bullshit on this wedding! I know my ass will be at the bachelor and bachelortte party so boooya!

The number 1 movie in America was "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert." The concert was shown in just 683 across America and ranked in an astounding 29 million dollars. The film was only to be released for one week but Disney pictures were just amazed by the numbers that the concert has been extended.

Jessica Alba's supernatural thriller "The Eye" came in 2nd with 13 million shown in 2600 theaters. The movie was not shown for review and that usually means that it sucked. I will see the movie this week and give a full review.

This weekend's bomb was Eva Longoria Parker's movie "Over Her Dead Body" the movie came in at 11th with only 4 million. The movie was a bomb at the box office but at least it pulled in more than Gilitter! Eva should stick to Desperate Housewives.

Paula's Super Bowl Performance!

Paula didn't exactly rock the house but she didn't suck. We all knew she was gonna lip sync but we expected to see her dance her ass off. The dancing was aight at best and she moved around the stage too much. I think the choreography shoulda been better and the staging was a bit strange. Over all the performance was ok and I'm hoping for the video to be better!

Jamie Spears has been awarded full temporary custody of Britney. ET has confirmed the story:

ET confirms that BRITNEY SPEARS' father JAMIE has won full temporary custody over the troubled pop star. The ruling means that the L.A. Superior Court found Britney unable to take care of herself or her finances, so Jamie was appointed her conservator, or guardian, until February 4, the date of the next hearing. The end of Friday's court session found Jamie in tears and mother LYNNE happy.
